Educational Qualification
- The candidates have a Secondary School Examination pass certificate of 10th standard having passed in Mathematics and English from any recognized Board of School Education by the Government of India/ State Governments/ Union Territories in India shall be a mandatory educational qualification for all approved categories of GDS.

The candidates have to apply for India Post Office GDS Recruitment 2024 in three stages - Registration, Payment of Application fee, and Online Application. Here are the essential steps to complete the online application process for the India Post Office Recruitment 2024.
Step-1: First visit the official website of the India Post Office at https://indiapostgdsonline.gov.in/.
Step-2: Then the applicant must first register themselves on the Online Engagement Portal.
Step-3: The candidates must have their own active email ID and mobile number to generate a registration number and password.
Step-4: After the registration select the state you wish to apply for.
Step-5: Choose the district within the selected state.
Step-6: Click on the "Apply Online" option in the left sidebar.
Step-7: Now you have to provide your personal details to complete the GDS online application.
Step-8: Next the applicant is required to upload a recent photograph and signature at the time of submitting the online application in the prescribed sizes and formats.
Step-9: Pay the application fee and submit the final application form.

Applicants are required to pay a fee of Rs 100/- for each position listed in the chosen division. However, female candidates, SC/ST candidates, PWD candidates, and transwomen are exempted from paying this application fee.
